Some furniture collections arrive quietly. Others announce themselves. The Morpho collection by Ethnicraft and Tomorrowland is unambiguously the latter. It is one of the most talked-about furniture launches in recent memory, and Matho Home is proud to carry Ethnicraft — and the Morpho collection — in our Midtown Miami showroom.
The Story Behind Morpho
Tomorrowland is a Belgian electronic music festival known around the world for the extraordinary scale and imagination of its productions. For two decades, the festival has built entire fantasy worlds on its grounds each year. The question that eventually became Morpho was a natural one: what would it look like to bring that world-building sensibility into a home?
To answer it, Tomorrowland partnered with Ethnicraft — the Belgian furniture brand with a global reputation for craftsmanship rooted in solid wood, honest materials, and designs meant to last for generations. The creative direction came from Great Library Design Studio, founded by Antwerp-based architect Dieter Vander Velpen. The result is Morpho: a contemporary Art Nouveau collection where the dragonfly serves as both name and structural reference — flowing lines, branching forms, softly contoured wood that resembles roots and tree limbs.

Every Morpho piece is produced by Ethnicraft's Indonesian artisans. The marble engraving on select pieces requires eight hours of careful work. The quartzite variants demand as many as 36 hours for the same process. These are not production details. They are the kind of facts that tell you everything about what kind of collection this is.
The Morpho Collection at Matho Home
We are proud to carry the Morpho collection in our Midtown Miami showroom. Here is an introduction to the pieces that define the collection.
Cena Dining Table
The centerpiece of the Morpho collection. The Cena dining table is available in beige quartzite — a surface that takes 36 hours to engrave by hand — and green marble. Its organic silhouette, branching legs, and stone top make it one of the most extraordinary dining tables available anywhere in the luxury market. It is a piece that changes the entire energy of a room.

Volita Dining Chair
Designed to pair with the Cena dining table, the Volita dining chair is where the dragonfly reference becomes most visible. The chair's back panel takes direct inspiration from the wing structure of the insect — a sweeping, organic form in either ivory chenille or black leather that is as sculptural as it is comfortable. Seen from the back, it is one of the most striking chair designs in recent memory.

Aleta Bar Stool
The Aleta bar stool takes the wing motif into bar and counter height seating. Available in varnished oak with brass-coloured metal and ivory chenille upholstery, it combines the organic formalism of the collection with the casual functionality of a stool. It works equally well at a kitchen island, a home bar, or in a commercial hospitality setting.

Why Morpho Works in Miami
Miami is one of the few cities in the world where the Morpho collection makes complete sense as a residential choice. The city's relationship with nature — the water, the light, the tropical landscape visible from almost every window — creates an interior design context where organic forms feel grounded rather than decorative. A Cena dining table in a Brickell apartment with bay views is not a statement piece. It is a natural extension of the environment outside the glass.
The Full Ethnicraft Collection at Matho Home
Morpho is the most dramatic expression of what Ethnicraft does, but the brand's full collection is equally worth exploring. We carry pieces across every category of the home.

Furniture at this level is best experienced in person. The weight of the solid wood, the texture of the stone surfaces, the way organic forms read in natural light — these are qualities that photographs communicate imperfectly at best.
Matho Home carries the full Ethnicraft collection and the Morpho collaboration in our Midtown Miami showroom. Complimentary design consultations are available in person or virtually and let our team show you what these pieces look like in a beautifully designed space.
