Family Dynamics I is an expression of the beauty and chaos of human connection, composed by hand from fabric and burl wood. The layered materials give the square work real depth and a rich, tactile warmth. It sits behind a glass front in a floating solid pine frame with a dark brown finish, and measures 40 by 40 inches. Four hanging hooks on the back allow it to be oriented in any direction. It stands beautifully on its own or paired with Family Dynamics II, its companion piece, above a sofa, bed or console.
