Handcrafted with precision in wood, each piece unique with variations in color, patina and detail. Part of The Met x Eichholtz collection, inspired by a northern Italian column of about 1400 carved from red limestone (Broccato Rosso di Verona), now in the medieval art collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and probably made in Veneto. The original measures 86.61" (220 cm), about 86.6 inches, in height and has been recreated here in hand carved wood.
