From The Met x Eichholtz. Antiqued finish with snake-like handles and a handmade linen-mix shade from the Netherlands. Inspired by a Roman marble vase from the second half of the 2nd century CE, from the Antonine period, with handles of intertwined serpents and strigulated, or scaped, S-shaped reliefs carved across the body. The original is held in The Met collection in New York.
