Bronze portal finish with a beveled glass tabletop cut and polished at an angle. The design takes its direction from a French tripod table (ca. 1815 to 1825) in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, crafted in wood and gilt bronze with a mosaic surface, ornate winged-lion legs, flora and fauna detailing, a top depicting a quartet of birds drinking from a golden bowl, and a fret trim.
