Art is not always found on a canvas: the Watercolours Cabinet is painted in an impressionistic Tranquil finish of greyish blue and aqua, kissed with silver leaf, so it shimmers softly in any light. Asymmetrical metallic palm frond pulls, custom designed, are pure Caracole style. Behind the doors, it is remarkably practical. It is sized to hold a 42-inch television, and it offers a pull-out writing surface with cord access, two adjustable shelves behind sliding doors, two drawers and two file drawers. A Coastal Silver Leaf cap and base frame the piece, which works as a home office, an entertainment center or a bar.
