Crafted true to tradition by seamlessly joining two hemispherical halves, with a serene sand finish and a subtle peach glaze that arises as a beautiful accident of the firing process. Part of The Met x Eichholtz collection, inspired by an 18th century Korean porcelain moon jar in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Moon jars were popular in the 18th and 19th centuries during the Joseon dynasty (1392 to 1910) and were typically crafted in two halves and joined by hand.
