Defined by an asymmetric profile, the Insight Sculpture balances raw geological history with intentional form. Cradled in a modern black powder-coated iron mount, the feathered graining of petrified wood provides an elemental texture for contemporary built-ins or mid-century inspired mantels.

Details
Petrified Wood in Natural. Iron base in Black. Handcrafted by skilled artisans. Unique imperfections such as fissures, markings, and variations in colour and shape are appreciated. As wood is an organic, porous material, these pieces will contain natural variation of texture and may also exhibit fine indentations and cracks. Wood pieces will also display a disparity of colour and grain, and visible knots and burls that add to the character of each piece.
