Care: Natural teak weathers over time, and the process varies with climate, exposure, and maintenance; teak expands and contracts with changes in climate. Its dense, oil rich composition resists rot and most wood boring pests, so a teak sealer is recommended (not included). Set cushions aside before inclement weather and let wet cushions dry after use. Cushion covers are water repellent and sunproof, but water can be absorbed through the seams if left in rain or near sprinklers, so keep cushions covered or indoors when not in use. For surfaced teak oil stains, gently wash with a mild fabric cleaner and a soft bristle brush, and flip cushions up when not in use to avoid oil transfer (set-in stains may need professional cleaning). For everyday stains, use a mild cleaner with warm water and a soft bristle brush, rinse thoroughly, and tip cushions zipper side down, unzipped, to drain. Store cushions separately from the teak frame for the first year to prevent the wood's natural oils from staining the cushions.
