Made from refined brown oak veneer with an expressive open grain. Part of The Met x Eichholtz collection, its sculptural base mirrors the base design seen in the coffee and dining tables from the same collection, drawing on a papyrus motif capital dating to 380 to 343 BCE from the temple of Amun at Hibis in Egypt's Kharga Oasis.
